This room is where our babies from three months are looked after with love, care and plenty of cuddles! The room provides plenty of interesting objects and activities for the babies to discover and explore. Babies enjoy music and movement along songs and stories as part of our daily routine. Babies engage in creative play using malleable materials, sand and water, texture experimentation, messy play and mark making using a range of different materials and are incorporated into each day. Treasure baskets are also enjoyed by all the babies. Our babies enjoy warm relationships with their key person who will feedback about your child’s day at nursery and you will also see photos of activities of their day via your child’s digital learning book.

Babies benefit from our all inclusive activities.

This room is where our toddlers from around the age of 18 months are. The children are starting to really develop social skills and make lasting friendships. We support these skills by focusing on group activities, indoors and outdoors, offering lots of physical and social interaction. Independence is encouraged and celebrated as children start to take responsibility for themselves, children are encouraged to feed themselves, dressing skills, and lots of toilet training all helps towards children’s independence.

Children benefit from our all inclusive activities.

Our preschooler’s are aged around 29 months up and the room is always buzzing with energy with children eager to learn and we use their curiosity to plan fun activities which encourage communication, social and independent skills.The children participate in circle time and group discussions to enhance their communication skills which supports their confidence and allows them to become more independent.The children are also encouraged to contribute to the running of the room and help out by laying the tables for lunch, watering the plants or tidying up after themselves. Preschooler’s take regular trips to the local library and go on short walks.

Children benefit from our all inclusive activities.

This room is for children around the age of 24 months up. The children are eager to learn and we use their curiosity to plan fun activities which encourage communication, social and independent skills. The children participate in news time and group discussions to enhance their communication skills which supports their confidence and allows them to become more independent. The children are supported in experiences aimed to extend their learning and development through child initiated and adult led learning following the planned activities throughout the day.

Children benefit from our all inclusive activities.

We have a large outdoor play area with plenty of outdoor space. Our garden allows children of all ages to play throughout the year, ensuring the children have access to plenty of fresh air and plenty of room to play and explore. Children  have access to plenty of equipment to help them develop their catching and throwing skills, balancing, climbing, jumping, skipping and hopping skills. They also have access to practice learning to ride on the outdoor vehicles.  The learning areas are continued outside, which include but are not limited to; mud kitchen, den making area, sandpit, maths and nature area, water station and fruit and vegetable patch.
